Would you believe I was working on this a year ago?

Here’s my baby, Vermilion Cliffs, inspired by a March 2013 trip Gregg and I took to National Parks in Arizona and southern Utah.

The pattern is available for free at Knitty.com.  I was looking for something to represent the variety of rock forms and the different types of layers within cliff faces.

The size shown is a 38 and it took 7 skeins of Madeline Tosh Vintage (worsted weight, 200 yards per skein).

VC is a cozy, warm cabled cardigan for those cold western NY winters– that means October through April!
