Greetings from the City of Light! Rained rained one moment and the sun shone brightly the next.
Despite the trope of the French being aloof and rude, we experienced the exact opposite. Every one we met was cheerful and helpful, and no one mocked my poor attempts at speaking French.

Today, we’re off to London via the Eurostar, the train that runs under the English Channel. One really interesting tidbit, department stores here have yarn/embroidery/sewing departments. More info to follow once I am home. Talk to you soon 🙂
